The site began as a bare warehouse area with concrete floors and no walls, no plumbing. The designer worked with the architect to design the layout, and later accent the area with accessories. My job was to create an old world Mexican setting that appeared weathered and outdoors. Color schemes, materials, finishing techniques, effects, design, murals, signage, embellishments, and even basic painting were all created and executed by G.Go Decorative. Only the floor, countertops and rafters were done by other subcontractors.

 

After the initial meeting with the designer and an owner, nearly a full month went into conceptualization and planning. Then two months went into actual production with my crew of 6 workers. We adapted and adjusted to multiple changes and additions, as one would expect. It was like pulling teeth to get approved by the committee to paint the exterior concrete walls, but it is what makes the theme complete.

 

Everyone was more than pleased with the result. It was a mission accomplished.
